COMPANY HISTORY

1975

Humble beginnings

Dixie Jet & Rotor Service “Lifted Off” in 1992. The aviation dream & vision of its Founder Wayne Bradbury started in 1975 with humble beginnings in the U.S. Army.
1990

Serving His Country

Throughout the 1980’s & 1990’s after serving his country Wayne worked in corporate aviation. During this time he worked as Director of Maintenance for a corporate operator flying numerous jet & helicopter models. Wayne’s notoriety grew considerably with the emerging Agusta 109 market. This prompted him to start Dixie Jet & Rotor Service with a single customer.
2000

New Growth

The company’s growth in the late 90s & early 2000’s required several hangar upgrades. We eventually landed in our current 15,000 square foot facility in 2007. In 2009 we were awarded an FAA Certified Repair Station. Later that same year we were bestowed the honor of becoming the sole Leonardo (formerly Agusta Westland) Factory Authorized Service Center for the South East United States.
2014

Authorized Service Center

In 2014 we were awarded the prestigious MD Helicopters Factory Authorized Service Center. Today the future is very bright as we continue to grow & explore new horizons
